How do I make a booking for a performance and how much does it cost?

You will need to fill in an Online Enquiry Form. Once we receive this from you, a Quote/Price list of our ‘Event Packages’ and a ‘Confirmation of Performance’ form will be sent to you. Once this is confirmed and received by us we will send you an invoice. We require a 50% non-refundable deposit to be paid three months prior to the booking. If the booking is within three months then payment needs to be made in full to secure your booking, including all expenses such as travel, food and accommodation costs for international bookings. Bookings outside of London will incur an additional charge for travel fees. What can we expect from a typical show?

A performance can last from 15 to 30 minutes or two 10 – 15 minute sets with a costume change. We can include extra sets at your event. We open the show with a veil entrance, a traditional and modern set, a drum solo and audience participation at the end if agreed during the booking stage. We can also tailor-make your event to include a mini lesson to accompany the performance for interaction with the audience and a lively atmosphere. Belly dance attire is available for sale and hire. Arabic Musicians, Drummers and a band are available to hire upon request. We are happy to create the perfect package to meet all your requirements.

What happens if I want to cancel a booking?

If there is a cancellation we need to be informed immediately. Booking deposits are non-refundable. The full booking charge will still be incurred if the cancellation occurs less than two weeks before the date of the event.

How many dancers would you recommend for my event?

For small events with a small venue we suggest one to five dancers with a Drummer/Darbuka Player. For larger events with a large venue we suggest between 5 to 13 dancers with optional Arabic Musicians or a Live Band.

What do I need to have at the venue in preparation for your event?

A sound system with speakers or CD/Ipod Player which is fully functional and tested in advance. If there is no DJ, you will need to have someone assist with the music and ensure they are trained in advance to operate the sound system during our performance. The booking fee is non-refundable if your sound system does not work during the allocated booking time. We will require a private room area with changing facilities. We also require a secure storage facility to store our belongings during the performance.

What happens if my event is running behind schedule?

Our Performers have several shows on during the day and evening during allocated time slots. We are happy to accommodate you if your event is running slightly late but there will be a surcharge of £30 if the performance begins 20 minutes after the allocated time slot agreed upon prior to the event. This will have to be paid in cash directly to the dancer. If the event is running over 30 minutes over schedule and we have another event planned then we will have to leave. Please note that all booking charges are non-refundable.

Do you perform for charity events?

We offer discounted rates to Foundations and Charities. There will be a small charge for travel expenses.
